4-7-9 Scattered trim

Where to check
The trim bag is full or
the filter bag is
clogged.
The milling brushes
are worn.
The trim is clogging
the hose.
Trim is clogging the
area around the
milling cutter.
The circuit breaker
for the milling blower
has tripped.

Cause and solution
• Throw out the trim.
• If the filter bag is clogged, clean it.

• If the milling brushes are worn, replace the
milling brushes.

• Turn the power switch off, and then remove
the rear cover.
• Loosen the hose clamp, disconnect the
hose, and remove any trim which is clogging
the hose.

• Turn the power switch off, remove the front
and rear milling guides, and clean away any
trim which has accumulated around the
milling cutter.

• Check whether the circuit breaker has

tripped.
• If the circuit breaker trips again, place a
service call.

Use work gloves for this job, and
be careful not to touch the edges
of the milling cutter or the
notching cutter blades. The sharp
edges on the blades may cut you.
