5-14-2 Replacing the side glue

With the side glue melted, drain off the glue from the lower front of the side glue tank, and add fresh glue.
The side glue tank has a high temperature
of about 200°C (400°F). Wear insulating
thermo gloves when replacing the glue.
The hot glue can cause burns.
To drain the glue, the glue must be melted. Once the
glue is melted, turn off the power, and follow steps
through below.
Have the following items ready:
• Side glue drain
• Disposal container (with a capacity of at least
2 liters or 0.5 gallons).
• Rag to remove the glue
• If a cardboard box will be used, place several
sheets at the bottom so that the glue will not
leak out from the gaps.
Turn the power switch off.
Finish steps to
done by the time the glue hardens.
Pull out the tank unit, and remove the front
cover.

Return the tank unit.
