Checking the Emergency Stop Function

The BQ-470 is equipped with safety features which protect usersduring the bookbinding job.
Check that the safety features are working by following the steps in this section.

Check the safety functions for the safety
covers and tank unit.
• An Error screen appears if any of the covers
listed below is opened.
• Open each cover, and check that the
corresponding error icon appears on the
screen.
• When each cover is closed, the error screen
should be cleared.
