If a Cover Sheet or Book Block Jams

4-8-1 If a cover sheet has jammed

If a cover sheet has jammed after feeding, the alarm
icon is displayed on the Bookbinding - Operation
screen.
Remove the jammed cover sheet.
A. When the cover sheet jammed right after
feeding, and can be removed to the
direction of the cover table, remove the
cover sheet using the handwheel. See
section 3-26 for more details.
B. When the cover sheet jammed on the
nipper, open the right safety cover and
remove the cover sheet. After removing
the cover sheet, close the safety cover.
If the cover sheet cannot be removed
easily because the cover jog guide width
is too narrow, open the cover jog guide
width to the home position using the
(home position) button on the
Information - Single Operation Cover
Jog screen.
