7B-48 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
ASSEMBLY
Assemble parts in reverse order of disassembly, noting following
points.
Install new oil seal.
NOTE:
Apply A/T fluid around oil seal before installing it.
Use special tool and hammer to install it, and then apply grease
to its lip portion.
Special Tool
(A) : 09913-85210
Grease: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE C (99000-25030)
Install inner rotor (1) and outer rotor (2) into housing by aligning
their punch marks (3).
Install oil pump housing (1) and oil pump cover by aligning knock
pin positions.
Tightening torque for oil pump housing
.
9.5 N m (0.95 kg-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Wind vinyl tape around tip end of oil pump, fit seal ring (1) in
groove as shown in left figure.
