18) Remove engine rear mounting with stiffener and brackets.

19) Remove engine left side mounting bracket nuts (1).
20) Lower vehicle and support transmission jack.
21) Remove lower side 2 transmission to engine bolt and nut.
22) Remove other attached parts from transmission, if any.
23) Pull out transmission so as to disconnect input shaft from

REMOUNTING
Reverse dismounting procedure to remount T/M assembly noting
the following point.

clutch disc and then lower it.
CAUTION:
Care should be taken not to scratch oil seal lip with
drive shaft while raising transmission.
Do not hit drive shaft joint with hammer installing
it into differential gear.
Use specified torque as given below:
Tightening Torque
Transmission to engine bolts and nut
Engine left side mounting bracket
nuts (1)
Engine rear mounting bolts (2)
Engine rear mounting bracket bolts
(to engine lower case) (3)
Engine rear mounting bracket bolts
(to T/M case) (4)
Engine rear stiffener bolts (5)
Ball stud bolt and nut
Stabilizer mounting bolts
Stabilizer bar link nut
Transmission control cable bracket
bolts
Clutch release arm bolt and nut
Push in left side drive shaft joint fully so as to engage snap ring
of shaft with differential gear.
