ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS (SELF DIAGNOSIS)
PCM has on-board diagnostic system (a system self-diagnosis function).
Investigate where the trouble is by referring to "Diagnostic Flow Chart" and "Diagnostic Trouble Code" in this sec-
tion.

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP ("CHECK
ENGINE" LIGHT) CIRCUIT CHECK
Check malfunction indicator lamp circuit when the lamp is in follow-
ing conditions referring to SECTION 6E1.
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHECK
1) Check malfunction indicator lamp ("CHECK ENGINE" light) re-
