Release Bearing
Installation

(P/N 08798 - 9002).
1. With the release fork slid between the release bear-
ing pawls, install the release bearing on the main-
s h a f t w h i l e i n s e r t i n g t h e r e l e a s e f o r k t h r o u g h t h e
h o l e i n t h e c l u t c h h o u s i n g .

Align the detent of the release fork with the release
f o r k b o l t , t h e n p r e s s t h e r e l e a s e f o r k o v e r t h e
release fork bolt sequarely.

3. Move the release fork right and left to make sure
that it fits properly against the release bearing, and
that the release bearing slides smoothly.
4. Install the release fork boot; make sure the boot
seals around the release fork and clutch housino.
