Sensor Resistance:
1. Connect the mainshaft speed
sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance bet-
ween the Dl1 and D12 termi-
nats.
Run the Electricel Troubl€shooting

PCM connectors. lf necossary,
substitute r known-good PCM
end .echeck.
ls the resistance 400 - 600 0?
Check NM Wire Continuity:
1. Disconnect the 2P connector
from the mainshaft speed sen-
sor.
2. Check for continuity between
the D11 terminal and the No. 2
t e r m i n a l o t t h e m a i n s h a f t
speed sensor connector,

Check NMSG Wire Continuity:
Check for continuity between the
Dl2 terminal and the No. 1 termi-
nal of the mainshaft spoed sen-
Repai. open in the wire betwoen
the D12 terminal and the mein-
shaft 3peod sansor.
Check Ior loose terminal fit in the
PCM connectors. lf necesaary.
substitute a known-good PCM
and recheck.
