Troubleshooting Flowchart - A/T Gear position Switch (Short)
NOTE: Record all freeze data before you troubleshoot.

NOTE: Code P1705(5) is caused when
t h e T C M r e c e i v e s t w o g e a r p o s i t i o n

Obsorve the A/T gear position
indicetor:

Do any jndicators stay on when the
sh;ft lever is not in that position?
Measure ATP R Vohage:
1. Shift to all positions other than
E.
2. Measure the voltage between
the 411 and A13 or A26 termi-
nats.
Check for sho.t in tho wire

OK check for loos6 TCM conncc-
tora. It nocassery, subrtitute a
known-good TCM and r€chsck.
