Valves, Valve Springs and Valve Seals
Removal
N O T E : l d e n t i f y v a l v e s a n d v a l v e s p r i n g s a s t h e y a r e
removed so that each item can be reinstalled in its orioi-
nal oosition.

Using an appropriate-sized socket and plastic mal-
let. lightly tap the valve retainer to loosen the valve
keepers before installing the valve spring compres-
sor.
Install the spring compressor. Compress the spring
and remove the valve keeper.

3. Install the valve guide seal remover.

Remove the valve seal.
