15.5.2 Layout of Smart ETH Gateways (Single-Row Scenario)

Issue 02 (2018-03-31)
 When the smart module is 4 meters long or less, no multi-functional sensor is deployed in the
network cabinet.
 When the smart module is longer than 7 meters, deploy one multi-functional sensor in the middle of
the micro-module aisle (one more control skylight is deployed). The multi-functional sensor can be
connected to any smart ETH gateway in the middle.
Components marked in the same background color should be connected to the same smart ETH
gateway.

Deploy one smart ETH gateway for each
end cabinet and one smart ETH gateway for
every three cabinets among other cabinets in
the smart module, as shown in Figure 15-66.
