System configuration

This section describes the system configuration of the drive recorder.
For connection type settings and precautions regarding the communication unit, cable, and connection type, refer to the
following.
■1. Target controller
The drive recorder supports the following servo amplifiers.
Servo amplifier
MELSERVO-J4
MELSERVO-JE
Connect a target servo amplifier to the GOT through a motion controller CPU or a simple motion module.
(1) Applicable motion controller CPUs and simple motion modules
Motion controller CPU and simple motion module
Motion controller CPU(MELSEC iQ-R Series)
Motion controller CPU(Q Series)
Simple motion module
■2. Connection type
Servo amplifier
When a servo amplifier is connected to the GOT through a motion controller CPU (Q series), use a connection type
other than the CC-Link IE Field Network connection between the CPU and the GOT.
