Communication Port Identification and CardioSoft/CS setup

To close the window, click Finish.
Connect a USB cable (GE part number 2044095-001)
between the CardioSoft/CS PC and the T2100-ST series
treadmill.
Connect AC power to the treadmill.
Power on the treadmill.
If necessary, turn on the CardioSoft/CS PC and the monitor.
On the CardioSoft/CS PC, determine the COM port that the
USB Serial Port is using by doing the following:
On the CardioSoft/CS PC click Start and in the Search
programs and files field, type: Device Manager and
press Enter.
The Device Manager window opens.
Scroll to Ports (COM & LPT).
Find the USB Serial Port in the list
The port number is given in the parenthesis.
NOTE:
This may take a minute or so to display.
d. Make note of this port and port number, you will use it
later when selecting the COM port in the System
Configuration window of the CardioSoft/CS
application software.
