6. Use a multimeter to test the resistance between the two pins in the connector on the solenoid. The
reading should be between 8 and 10 ohms.
Pass The resistance measurement was good.
•
Plug connector P06 back in to the S3 solenoid.
•
Do not reinstall the right hand cover.
•
Go to Step 3.
Fail The resistance measurement was not good. Repair or replace worn or damaged parts as
required. Go to
Step 3: Test the wiring for solenoid S3.
1. Slide the operator seat assembly all the way toward the rear of the machine. Then tilt the seat itself forward.
2. Locate the primary TEC-5001 controller
1. Right front tire
2. Operator seat
3. Remove the four mounting bolts that secure the primary TEC-5001 controller
4. Lift the TEC up and out of its mounted location
5. Fully loosen the socket-head screw that secures main harness connector P01 to the TEC
and then unplug the connector.
