Purpose
To select the motor to be used

induction and vector motors
To maximize the performance of the
PM motor to perform Vector control
operation
To maximize the performance of the
PM motor to perform PM sensorless
vector control operation
To perform high accuracy operation
without being affected by temperature
and high-torque/ultra-low speed
To use the motor with encoder
To detect loss of encoder signals

5.13.1 Applied motor

By setting the applied motor type, the thermal characteristic appropriate for the motor can be selected.
When using a constant-torque or PM motor, the electronic thermal O/L relay function is set according to the motor.
