General Description
This feature provides the user with the ability to select an idle or ringing line before going off-hook.
Operating Procedure
To originate
1.
Press the desired line key; receive dial tone.
2.
Dial the desired destination.
To answer
1.
Press the line key (ringing and flashing LED alerts incoming call).
2.
Lift the handset or press SPEAKER key; answer the incoming call.
Service Conditions
1.
A line key whose associate LED is lit steady cannot be interrupted by pressing its key, unless PRIVACY
RELEASE is in service.
2.
After the desired line key is pressed, LINE PRESELECTION - D
After 10 seconds, line selection returns to the primary line.
Programming
No programming is required.
FCCS Programming
No unique programming is required for the FCCS network.
