[Pr.152] Maximum number of control axes
Set the maximum number of control axes.
This is used to reduce the operation cycle when the actual number of axes used is lower than the maximum number of control
axes of the relevant model.
Maximum number of control axes
No setting (Controls with the maximum number of control axes for each module.)
Maximum number of control axes (Controls the axes until the set axis No.)
*1 Example) When "10" is set, control axes are axis 1 to 10. Axis 11 and later are not controlled.
• When the maximum number of control axes exceeds the maximum number of control axes of the Motion module (such as
when setting "5" for the 4-axis module), the warning "Outside maximum number of control axes" (warning code: 0D3AH)
occurs and the module is controlled as set with "0: No setting". (The warning occurs in axis 1.)
• When "[Pr.141] IP address" is set with a value other than "0: No setting" or "[Pr.101] Virtual servo amplifier setting" is set
with a value other than "0: Use for the actual servo amplifier" in the axis which is out of the maximum number of control
axes, the warning "Outside control axis setting" (warning code: 0D3BH) occurs to these axes and the servo amplifier does
not switch to RUN time. (The servo amplifier's LED display remains "B.".)

• For this parameter, the value set in the flash ROM of the Motion module becomes valid when the power is
turned ON or the CPU module is reset. The value is not fetched by turning the PLC READY signal [Y0] ON
from OFF. Therefore, write to the flash ROM after setting the value in the buffer memory to change. . (The
value must be fixed when turning ON the power or resetting the CPU module.)
• The servo input axis (synchronous control) and virtual servo amplifier of the axes which are out of the
maximum number of control axes are out of the target.
