Simultaneous start using inter-module synchronization
This function synchronizes the start timing between different modules. It can synchronize the start timing between modules by
using the pre-reading start function together. After the start, each Motion module operates independently.
The RD78G modes that can be combined with the Simple Motion mode of the RD78G by simultaneous start using inter-
module synchronization are as follows.
: Simultaneous start possible, : Simultaneous start not possible
Mode
PLCopen motion control FB mode
Simple Motion mode
*1 Cannot be combined with a module other than the RD78G.

■Simultaneous start procedure using inter-module synchronization
1.
Set the Motion modules to be started at the same time as the inter-module synchronization targets.
2.
Use the pre-reading start function. Perform the positioning start after turning ON "[Cd.183] Execution prohibition flag".
3.
Turn OFF "[Cd.183] Execution prohibition flag" within the same inter-module synchronization cycle while the inter-
module synchronous interruption (I44) is in progress.
Ex.
To execute the inter-module synchronous interruption (I44) as an event, set the following to the execution type of the program
to be executed in "Program Setting" under "CPU Parameter".
