Setting time window for potential data retrievals

Before the first time opening of a time window, the EM260 must first be connected to the EK280
in accordance with Section 7.3.1 and must have been parameterized pursuant to Section 7.3.4.2!
The call time window maybe set up with enSuite via the optical interface of the EK280 via the path
"Parameters" > "Interfaces" >
7.3.4.2 Parameterization of the EM260-integrated GSM modem
Parameterization of the EM260-integrated GSM modem is only possible with the EM260 housing open and
supplied with 230 VA supply voltage, and only suitably qualified personnel is permitted to do so.
CAUTION! 230 V alternating voltage! Risk to life!

For the parameterization of the GSM modem in the EM260 for operation with an EK280 you will
need a commercial DSUB9-RS232 cable (1.1 through-contacted, no null modem cable, and the
program ModemIni version V3.50 or later which you can request free of charge from Honeywell.
For parameterization of the GSM modem in EM260, please proceed as follows:
Make sure that time windows 5 and 6 of the EK280 are closed.
Make sure that there is no power to EM260.
Make sure that the jumpers J1, J2 and J3 in the EM260 are
correctly fitted: J1 and J3 at the top, J2 at the bottom ( the
EM260 Operating Instructions, chapter 10 "Jumper" and top
photograph).
Push fit the jumper "Mode" in the position "program" on the
modem adapter board, (left hand side,  bottom photograph)
Connect one COM interface of your computer with the help of a
DSUB9 RS232 cable with the modem parameterization interface
ST3 on the modem adapter board ( photograph).
Switch on the power to the EM260.
