SI P1 (CU): Sign-of-life error in the safety data
Explanation
The "Safety Integrated" function integrated in the drive on the Control Unit (CU) has detected an error in the
sign-of-life of the safety data between the two monitoring channels and initiated a STOP A.
There is either a DRIVE-CLiQ communications error or communications have failed.
A time slice overflow of the safety software has occurred.
Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
Only for internal Siemens troubleshooting.
Remedy
Select Safe Torque Off and then deselect again.
● Carry out a POWER ON (power off/on) for all components.
● Check whether there is a DRIVE-CLiQ communications error between the two monitoring channels, and
if required carry out a diagnostics routine for the faults identified.
● Deselect all drive functions that are not absolutely necessary.
● Reduce the number of drives.
● Check the electrical cabinet design and cable routing for EMC compliance.

Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
Re fault value 10, 11:
Fault for "Open brake".
Parameter p1278 incorrectly set.
Brake not connected or interrupted cable (check whether for p1278 = 1 and p9602/p9802 = 0 (SBC switched-
out) the brake opens).
For fault value 20:
Fault in the "Brake open" state. Short-circuit in the brake winding.
