8.7 Safety Information Channel and Safety Control Channel
Use in the "SINUMERK Safety Integrated" operating mode
This functionality is used in the following cases in the "SINUMERIK Safety Integrated"
operating mode:
● Connecting external SINAMICS drives with safety functionality integrated in the drive, which
are assigned to an NC axis, to the motion control.
● Using the brake test functionality integrated in the drive for the NC axes with SINUMERIK
Safety Integrated monitoring enabled.
