Radial Pattern
A radial pattern, shown in Figure 6--104, is used to fly a radial inbound
and/or outbound from a given waypoint. Radial patterns are only
available when SPECIAL MISSION is selected.

DEFINING A RADIAL PATTERN
Follow Procedure 6--23 to define a radial pattern.

Push the DIR key.

Select the PATTERN prompt at 6L. As an alternative,
PATTERNS are selected from the NAV INDEX (page 2).

Select the RADIAL prompt at 3L. This action places
*RADIAL* into the scratchpad.
4
Push the left line select key corresponding to the radial
pattern fix waypoint.
