To display the administrative and operational status of a switching (nonrouting) port, use the show
interfaces switchport command.
Syntax Description

Examples
The following example shows how to display switch-port information using the begin output modifier:
Switch# show interfaces switchport | include VLAN

Trunking Native Mode VLAN: 1 (default)
Trunking VLANs Enabled: ALL
Pruning VLANs Enabled: ALL

The following example shows how to display switch-port information for module 1:

show interfaces [interface-id] switchport [module mod]
(Optional) Interface ID for the physical port.
(Optional) Limits the display to interfaces on the specified module; valid values are
from 1 to 6.
Modification
This command was introduced on the Catalyst 4500 series switch.
Support for per-interface display.
Support for displaying the status of native VLAN tagging in the command output.
Support for PVLAN modes over EtherChannel. Modes include: private-vlan host,
private-vlan promiscuous, private-vlan trunk secondary, and private-vlan trunk
promiscuous.
