problem.
2.7.403 SWTOPRI
The Synchronization Switch to Primary Reference condition occurs when the ONS 15454 switches to
the primary timing source (reference 1). The ONS 15454 uses three ranked timing references. The timing
references are typically two BITS-level or line-level sources and an internal reference.
Note SWTOPRI is an informational condition and does not require troubleshooting.
2.7.404 SWTOSEC
The Synchronization Switch to Secondary Reference condition occurs when the ONS 15454 has
switched to a secondary timing source (reference 2).
Clear the SWTOSEC Condition
Step 1 To clear the condition, clear alarms related to failures of the primary source, such as the
