(d) Port function control register 9 (PFC9)
This is a 16-bit register used to specify control mode 1, 2, 3 and 4 with PFCE9.
This register can be read and written only in 16-bit units.
However, when using the higher 8 bits of the PFC9 register as the PFC9H register and the lower
8 bits as the PFC9L register, PFC9 can be read and written in 8-bit and 1-bit units.
