CIU 888
Description
This setting refers to whether range check
is enabled / disabled in the tank inventory
calculations for the selected GSV calcula-
tion type.
Selection:
Checkbox (Selected) – Extended Range
(beyond defined by the standard) is sup-
ported.
Checkbox (Not Selected) – Extended
Range (beyond defined by the standard)
is not supported.
This setting indicates whether Mass calcu-
lation is performed for In vacuum or In air.
Selection:
In vacuum – Mass in vacuum is calcu-
lated.
In air – Mass in air is calculated.
Note:
For 888 calculations, Mass In vacuum is
only supported as weight can be calcu-
lated by configuring WCF method.
VolumeCorrections:
This setting indicates which correction
must be applied to the calculated volume.
Selection:
None (no vapour mass)
S&W corr. (Liq Mass from NSV; no Vap
mass)
Vapour calc. Liq/Vol ratio ISO/TC28/SC
3N
Vapour calc. molar method ISO/TC28/SC
3N
Vapour calc. method API research proj. 44
Vapour calc. molar method ISO 6578
Note:
For CIU 888 calculations type, vapour cal-
culations are not supported and hence
only S&W corr is applicable.
Air Density is always in kg/m3, regardless
of the units in which the system is config-
ured.
