Be sure the

capacity is the same

legs.
FRONT WHEEUSUSPENSION/STEERING
Set the axle holder of the fork slider in a vise with a
piece of wood or soft jaws to avoid damage.
Install a new sealing washer to the fork center bolt.
Apply recommended fork oil (page 14·33) to a new O·
ring . and install ilIa the fork cen ter bolt.
Clean and apply locking agent to the fork center bolt
threads.
Install and tighten the fork center bolt fully by hand.
Hold the fork damper using the special tools and tighten

the fork cen ter boll to the specified torque.

FORK OIL LEVEL (OIL CAPACITY) ADJUSTMENT
HOLDER HANDLE
Lower the outer tube slowly untillhe dust seal seats the ' --0-U-T-E -R - T - U - 6 - E - -- -
bottom bracket of the fork slider.
Compress the fork damper fully.
Pour the recommended fork oil into the fork piston rod
and up to the upper surface of the outer lube.
