FRONT WHEEUSUSPENSION/STEERING
Hold the damper rod, install the fork cap assembly into
the fork damper.
FORK CAP ASSEMBLY

FORK DAMPER
Hold the fork damper using the special tool.
TOOL:
Lock nut w rench, 49 mm 070MA-MENOi00 or
070MA-MENA 100
(U .S.A . only)
Tighten the fork cap assembly to the specified torque
using the special 1001 while holding the fork damper.
TOOL:
ForX cap bolt holder, 36 mm 070MB·MENDi00 or
FORK CAP

TORQUE : 28 N-m (2.9 kgf·m. 211bHt)
'13 - '14: Hold the fork damper using the special tool.

Temporarily tighten the fork cap assembly while holding

WRENCH
Tum the fork center bolt lock nut clocl<wise until
it
is fully
