Measure the countershaft 0 .0 . al the idle gear bushing
sliding surface.
SERVICE LIMIT : 16.95 mm (0.667 In)
ASSEMBLY
SNAP RING
BUSHING
K1CKSTARTER PINION GEAR
THRUST WASHER
Install the snap ring
with the chamfered
edge facing the
trust
road
side.
Check thaI the snap
ring is sealed in
the
spindle groove.
THRUST WASHER
Inslalilhe snap ring in the groove of the spindle.
Install the thrust washer.
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the spindle gear
rolling area.
