COOLING SYSTEM
INSTALLATION
After Installmg the
InslaUthe plain washer and impeller to the water pump

cover. tighten the
impel/er,
Install the fight crankcase cover (page 11-8).

Tighten the wa ter pump impeller to the specified torque.
T ORQUE : 12 N' m (1.2 kgf'm , 9 IbHt )
Install the dowel pins.
Inslall a new O-ring to the water pump cover.
Install the water pump cover.
Install and lighten the bolts securely.
Install the coolant drain bolt With a new sealing washer.
Tigh ten the coolant drain bolt securely.
Connect the lower radiator hose. and lighten the hose
band screw securely (page 7-13).
Fill the radiator with the recommended coolant mixture
to the fiUer neck and bleed the air (page 7-9).
