CYLINDER HEADNALVES
CAMSHAFT/ROCKER ARM
INSTALLATION
Install the camshaft
with the intake cam
Jobes facing up.

ROCKER ARM
Each exhaust rocker arm has an identification
ma~, ~-----------------,
"ENL" is for left exhaust rocker arm, "ENW is right IDENTIFICATION MARK
exhaust rocker arm.
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the (ocker arm inner

surface and valve slipper surface.

Install the rocker arms onlo the camshaft holder base.
Inslall the rocker arm shaft while aligning the camshaft
holder bolt holes with the rocker arm shaft cui-outs.
CAMSHAFT
Turn the crankshaft clockwise to align the punch mark. ~-----------------,
on the primary drive gear with the
·S
mark. on the right PUNCH MARK MARK
crankcase cover.
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the camshaft cam
lobes.
Install the camshaft while installing the cam chain onlo
the cam sprocket.
Slide the cam sprocket side camshaft bearing until it is
fuUy seated to the camshaft.
