the TP sensor voltage increases
continuously when moving Ihe throtlle from fully
closed to fully opened using the data list menu of Ihe
MeS.
Does
the
voltage
increase
continuously?
YES
- Intermittent failure
NO
- Faulty TP sensor

Turn Ihe "ECM" selector switch ON

Measure the vol tage at the wire side.

- GO TO STEP 4.

Open circuit in Green/red wire
• Open circuil in Red/yellow wire

Replace the throttle body with a known good one
(page 6-64
).
Erase the oTG's (page 6-23).
Turn the
"ECM"
selector switch ON

Check Ihe TP sensor with the
MeS
.
Is DTe

- Replace the ECM with a known good
one,
and recheck.
