scratch the fork
slider surface.
Remove the fork damper assembly.
Empty the fork oil from the fork damper assembly by
pumping the piston rod several times.
OUTER TUBE AND FORK SUDER DISASSEMBLY
Remove the dust seal , scraper and stopper ring .
Check that the fork slider moves smoothly in the outer
tUbe.
If it does not, check the fork slider for bends or damage,
and slider bushings for wear or damage (page 14-26).

Using quick successive motions, pull the fork slider oul
