MAINTENANCE
Anar ' 12:
Check and adjust the fork
air pressure after practIce
and between molos.
Be sure the fork is fully extended with the front tire off
the ground.
Remove the valve cap and measure the fork air
pressure when the fork is cold.
PSF STANDARD COLO AIR PRESSURE :
'13: 230 kPa (2.3 kgflcm

33 psi)
After '13: 240 kPa (2.4 kgflcm

35 psi)
Do not use TOOL, U.S.A. only:
compressed air
Air Fork Pump, 0-60 psi

To adjust the air pressure, connect a commercially
available hand-operated air pump to the air valve.
Apply the following air pressure to the fork assembly
and check that there is no air leakage.
TEST AIR PRESSURE:
300 kPa (3.1 kgflcm
2
,
44 psi)
If there is no leakage. adjust the PSF air pressure to the
standard value.
Replace the air valve if necessary.
REAR SUSPENSION INSPECTION
Check the action of the shock absorber by compressing
il several times.
'09 - '12. Remove the sub-frame (page 3-7).
After "2: Remove the air cleaner housing (page 6-61).
Check the entire shock absorber assembly for signs of
leaks, damage or loose fasteners.
Replace damaged components which cannot be
repaired .
Tighten all nuts and bolls
For shock absorber service (page 15-14).
·09 - '12: Inslall the sub-frame (page 3-7).
After
·'2: Install the air deaner housing (page 6-61).
