CLUTCH/KICKSTARTERIGEARSHIFT LINKAGE
CLUTCH OUTER REMOVAL
Remove the right crankcase cover (page 11-7).
Remove the clutch discs, dutch plates and clutch
center (page t 1-1 0).
Remove the thrust washer and clutch ouler.
Remove the needle bearing and clutch outer gUIde.
CLUTCH OUTER INSPECTION
CLUTCH ourER
Check the clutch outer slots for nicks, indentations or
' c-L-U -T -C -H - O - U- T E - R - - - - - - - - - - - - - ,
abnormal wear made by the clutch discs.
Check the serrated teeth of the primary driven gear for
wear or damage.
Replace the clutch outer if necessary.

NEEDLE BEARING
Check the needle bearing for wear or damage.
Replace
it if
necessary.
Check the mainshaft for wear or damage at the sliding
surface of the dutch outer guide.
