Among the FIFO access space (Addresses 0x2000 to 0x2FFF), the addresses not shown in Table SCU (Sensor
Control Unit)-103 are Reserved and are writing-invalid (no error response) and 0 read during readout (no error
response).
Since the Random Access partition has a non-FIFO structure, it does not have physical writing ports or physical
readout ports.
3.9.8.4 Decimation Partition
The Decimation partition stores the data that was decimation-processed by the MATH_PROC. There are two
sets of Decimation partitions, each of which is comprised of four sub-partitions.
Within each sub-partition of the Decimation partition, data can be stored as either Calculation Operable Sample
Type or Calculation Inoperable Sample Type but when performing decimation or arithmetic processing,
Calculation Operable Sample Type must be used.
The Decimation partition can only be written from the internal sequencer of the SCU, and writing from the
CPU or Host is prohibited. The four sub-partitions within a certain Decimation partition stores sample data that
differs in terms of decimation rate based on the same sample data.
The Decimation partition has four different readout ports per partition, each to which one of the four
sub-partitions can be assigned according to the setting.
