Pass The 48 Vdc battery system checks were good. Go to Step 3.
Fail One or more of the 48 Vdc battery system tests failed. Repair or replace the worn or damaged parts.
Go to Returning the Machine to Service (page 22)
Step 3: With the engine running, check the 48 Vdc battery system.
1. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage across the 48 Vdc battery pack
2. It should measure between 46 Vdc and 58 Vdc.
Pass The 48 Vdc battery system check was good. Go to Step 4.

Step 4: Test the 48 Vdc logic relay and the circuit wiring.
1. Locate the 48 Vdc logic relay and disconnect the machine wire harness connector (P32) from the relay
(Figure 47).

2. Remove the bolt and locknut that secure the 48 Vdc logic relay to the fuse bracket and remove the
relay from the machine.
3. Measure the coil resistance between terminals 85 and 86 of the 48 Vdc logic relay
should measure approximately 72 ohms.
