Step 4: Disconnect cutting reel motors 1 at a time.
Note:
As each cutting reel motor is disconnected, a corresponding cutting reel motor CAN bus fault occurs.
Ignore these faults while conducting this test.
1. Listen to the engine and observe the engine idle speed as each cutting reel motor is unplugged.
2. If the idle smooths out when any 1 cutting reel motor is unplugged and the fault 44 stops repeating, that
cutting reel motor requires replacement.
3. Replace the suspect cutting reel motor.
4. Run the machine after replacing the cutting reel motor.
Pass The fault did not repeat. Go to
Fail The fault repeated. Repeat Step 4 until any faulty cutting reel motors are identified and replaced.
If the fault repeats after all faulty cutting reel motors have been replaced, go to Step 5.
Step 5: Test the CAN bus wiring in seat harness connector P52.
1. Go to Preparing for Troubleshooting and/or Testing (page 22)
2. Unplug the 48 Vdc battery disconnect to prevent unexpected cutting unit operation. Refer to

Pass The CAN bus wiring tests passed. Go to Step 6.
Fail One or more of the CAN bus wiring tests failed. Repair or replace the worn or damaged parts. Go
to Returning the Machine to Service (page 22)
Step 6: Replace the InfoCenter.
1. Verify that connector P52 is disconnected from the back of the InfoCenter.
2. Unscrew the retaining ring from the back of the InfoCenter.
