A good relay has a coil resistance of approximately 72 ohms.
5. Measure the resistance between terminals 30 and 87.

A good relay has an infinite value (open circuit).
6. Apply 12 Vdc to terminal 85, and then ground terminal 86.
7. Measure the resistance between terminals 30 and 87.
Note:
A good relay has continuity between the terminals (closed circuit).
8. Operate the machine.
Pass If the main power relay tests good, install the relay back into the machine. Go to Step 4 and follow
the steps listed.
Fail If the main power relay tests bad, install a replacement relay into the machine. Go to
Machine to Service (page 22)
Step 4: Test the wiring harness.
1. Loosen the socket-head screw that secures seat harness connector P75 to the TEC-5002 and unplug the
connector (Figure

and follow the steps listed.
