Control Unit Input Test (cont'd)
10. Reconnect the connectors to the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box, and make these input tests at the
connectors.
• If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
• If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 11.

Wire Test condition
RED Under all Measure the voltage to ground:
conditions There should be battery voltage.
WHT Under all Measure the voltage to ground:
conditions There should be battery voltage.
BRN Ignition switch Measure the voltage to ground:
ON (II) There should be battery voltage.
BLK Under all Measure the voltage to ground:
conditions There should be less than 0.5 V.
LT GRN Right rear Measure the voltage to ground:
door open There should be less than 1 V.
Right rear Measure the voltage to ground:
door closed There should be more than 5 V.
GRN Front Measure the voltage to ground:
passenger's There should be less than 1 V.
door open
Front Measure the voltage to ground:
passenger's There should be more than 5 V.
door closed
