MICU Input Test (cont'd)
4. With the connectors still disconnected, make these input tests at the connectors.
• If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
• If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.

Test condition Test: Desired result
Under all conditions Connect the F19 terminal and D11
terminal with a jumper wire:
The taillights and the license plate
lights should come on.
Under all conditions Connect the F19 terminal and F10
terminal with a jumper wire:
The left front parking light and the
left front side marker light should
come on.
Under all conditions Connect the F19 terminal and F13
terminal with a jumper wire:
The left headlight (high beam)
should come on.
Under all conditions Connect the F19 terminal and F21
terminal with a jumper wire:
The left headlight (low beam)
should come on.
Passenger's under- Check for continuity between the
dash fuse/relay box Q8 terminal and the passenger's
connector A (38P) under-dash fuse/relay box
disconnected connector A (38P) No. 17 terminal:
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity to ground:
There should be no continuity.
Possible cause if result is not
obtained
• Blown bulb
• Poor ground (G602)
• An open in the wire
• Blown bulb
• Poor ground (G302)
• An open in the wire
• Blown bulb
