4. With the connectors still disconnected, make these input tests at the connectors.
• If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
• If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.

disconnected
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity between the P6
terminal and the immobilizer-keyless
control unit 7P connector No. 4 terminal:
There should be continuity.
Gauge control
Check for continuity between the P5
module 32P
terminal and the gauge control module
connector
32P connector No. 18 terminal:
disconnected
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity between the P6
terminal and the gauge control module
32P connector No. 19 terminal:
There should be continuity.
Door multiplex
Check for continuity between the P5
control unit 37P
terminal and the door multiplex control
connector
unit 37P connector No. 33 terminal:
disconnected
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity between the P6
terminal and the door multiplex control
unit 37P connector No. 35 terminal:
There should be continuity.
Passenger's under-
Check for continuity between the P5
dash fuse/relay box
terminal and the passenger's under-dash
connector A (38P)
fuse/relay box connector A (38P) No. 29
disconnected
terminal:
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity between the P6
terminal and the passenger's under-dash
fuse/relay box connector A (38P) No. 11
terminal:
There should be continuity.
Climate control unit
Check for continuity between the P5
connector B (12P)
terminal and the climate control unit
disconnected
connector B (12P) No. 2 terminal:
There should be continuity.
Check for continuity between the P6
terminal and the climate control unit
connector B (12P) No. 1 terminal:
There should be continuity.
