5. Reconnect the connectors to the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box, turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and make these input tests at the
connectors.
• If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
• If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 6.

Wiper switch (LO or HI) ON
Measure the voltage between the R16
and the R4 terminals:
There should be less than 1 V.
Wiper switch OFF
Measure the voltage between the R16
and the R4 terminals:
There should be more than 5 V.
Wiper switch (MIST) ON
Measure the voltage between the R17
and the R4 terminals:
There should be less than 1 V.
Wiper switch OFF
Measure the voltage between the R17
and the R4 terminals:
There should be more than 5 V.
Washer switch ON
Measure the voltage between the R18
and the R4 terminals:
There should be less than 1 V.
Washer switch OFF
Measure the voltage between the R18
and the R4 terminals:
