Slide the one pad [1] inward to release its tabs [2] from
the grooves in the caliper body, and remove it.
Remove the other pad in the same manner.
Remove the pad spring [3].
Clean the inside of the caliper body especially around
the caliper pistons.
Set the pad spring into the caliper body as shown.
• Install the pad spring with the arrows [4] facing up.
Install the one pad by setting the tabs into the grooves
in the caliper body while pushing in the pad against the
pad spring straight. Slide the pad to seat it on the
caliper pistons.
Install the other pad in the same manner.
Install the brake caliper [1] to the fork leg so that the
disc is positioned between the pads.
Install new mounting bolts [2] and tighten them to the
specified torque.
• Do not to damage the brake pads.
TORQUE: 45 N·m (4.6 kgf·m, 33 lbf·ft)
Operate the brake lever to seat the caliper pistons
against the pads.
