PGM-FI SYSTEM
A/F SENSOR (ED, IIED, IIIED, IVED, FO,
IIFO, KO, IIKO models)
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
• Do not get grease, oil or other materials in the A/F
sensor air hole.
• The A/F sensor may be damaged if dropped.
Replace it with a new one, if dropped.
• Do not service the A/F sensor while it is hot.
• Do not use an impact wrench while removing or
installing the A/F sensor, or it may be damaged.
Remove the exhaust pipe/muffler (page 2-17).
Remove the A/F sensor [1] using the special tool.
TOOL:
[2] FRXM17 (Snap on) or equivalent
Install and tighten the A/F sensor to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 24.5 N·m (2.5 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
