You can also search the list for a particular route by entering
the first few characters of the route's name.
The ROUTES screen has six menu keys—FOLLOW, ERASE,
ON CHART, NEW ROUTE, COPY, and EDIT—that control the
route function.
Use the FOLLOW key to:
•
follow the selected route (first you choose the starting
waypoint) in a forward or reverse direction
•
join a selected leg of the route, and follow the remainder
of the route, in a forward or reverse direction
•
add the selected route—starting with a selected
waypoint—to the end of your trip, in a forward or reverse
direction
Use the ERASE key to:
•
delete the selected route
Use the ON CHART key to:
mark a route for display on the CHART screen (you can
•
display only one route on the CHART screen at a time)
Use the NEW ROUTE key to:
•
create a new route from the list of waypoints stored in the
database, and graphically view the new route as you
create it
•
create a new route by adding waypoints to this route
when you press the SAVE key
Use the COPY key to:
•
make a new route by editing a copy of an existing,
selected route (choose the normal order or reverse)
Use the EDIT key to:
•
add or delete an existing route's waypoints, or change its
name
mark this route to accept SAVE keypresses (adds
•
waypoints to this route when you press the SAVE key)
