Changing alarm
settings

Chapter 12 - Alarms, TideTrack, Currents, and Echo Sounding
For alarms associated with the echo sounder, see the Northstar 490
Echo Sounder Operations Manual (GM490).
You can change the settings for the cross track, arrival radius,
DGPS, and anchor drag alarms:
the CROSS-TRACK ALARM can be set to on or off, and
the alarm distance can be set to nautical miles, miles, or
kilometers (and displayed in the equivalent yards, feet, or
meters if you set distance precision to HIGH)
the ARRIVAL RADIUS ALARM can be set to on or off, and
the alarm radius can be set to nautical miles, miles, or
kilometers (and displayed in the equivalent yards, feet, or
meters if you set distance precision to HIGH)
the DGPS ALARM can be set to on or off
the ANCHOR DRAG ALARM can be set to on or off, and
the alarm radius can be set to nautical miles, miles, or
kilometers (and displayed in the equivalent yards, feet, or
meters if you set distance precision to HIGH)
To change the alarm settings:
1. At the ALARMS screen, press the CHANGE SETTINGS
key.
The ALARM SETTINGS are highlighted.
