Installation Guide (IT Scenario)
● As the fire cylinder is heavy, determine the installation position, port, and
fastening mode in advance to avoid long-distance movement.
● Do not impact or strike the fire cylinder during transportation or installation.
Do not remove or flip the dowel on the fire cylinder.
● Assign at least four persons for transportation and installation if no auxiliary
tool is available.
● After the fire cylinder is installed, do not remove the safety pin on the fire
cylinder. Instead, remove the safety pin only after the fire extinguishing system
starts working properly.
● Do not touch any button in the fire extinguishing system without permission
during installation.
● Do not power on the fire extinguishing system during installation.
Preparations
Tools: flat-head screwdriver, pallet truck, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, step
ladder, protective gloves
Materials: fire cylinder, high-pressure hose, sealing tape, threaded adapter, I-
shaped connector
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Move the fire cylinder using a pallet truck to a position near the pre-fab. module
door closest to the installation position.
Do not move the fire cylinder over a long distance by hands.
Step 2 Untie the preconfigured steel straps at the installation position of the fire cylinder.
Step 3 Move the fire cylinder to the installation position and secure it.
Keep the pressure gauge panel outwards so that people can view the reading,
which also facilitates later maintenance.
