SAMSUNG DCS
TECHNICAL MANUAL
MMC: 410
DESCRIPTION:
Allows the system the ability to have Direct Inward System Access (DISA). Because there is a
possibility that unauthorized calls will be made via this feature, several safeguards have been added.
The end user must be informed of these to prevent unnecessary service calls. DISA can lock out
when a predetermined number of invalid consecutive calls are attempted. Callers will then receive
error tone until the programmable timer has expired. The [ key may be used to initiate new dial tone
while in a station to station call. The # key may be used to terminate the DISA call and disconnect
the central office line. Only one central office call will be allowed per DISA call but multiple intercom
calls are possible.
